Where are the Bees Going?

It is happening all around the globe, bees are disappearing. This is happening not only in the UK, but the US, German, Spain, Portugal, Scotland and Greece, all the beekeepers are worried. In the bee keeping world there is a condition call the colony Collapse Disorder. This is when the bees all of a sudden leave and left behind are just queens, a few young worker bees and the eggs. Typically, the reason is understood by the keepers. This reason could be predator attack or even a sickness but today, neither one of these are the cause and the keepers are at a loss to explain it.
Right now the most popular belief is the electromagnetic radiation from cell phones and other hi-tech gadgets are to blame. Normally, other bees, moths or other animals will move in, but this is not happening this time. Without the bees, there will be hundreds of crops of vegetable, fruits and flowers that will not be pollinated.
This is an alarming and widespread disappearance of bees that has not happened before. There have been just a few ideas as to why this is happening. Pesticides, stress or genetically modified foods are a few thoughts and even global warming is a possible cause.
